Oboist/English Hornist, Marcus Phillips is a freelance musician in the San Francisco Bay Area with an extensive background in orchestral performance, chamber music, teaching, and solo performance. Marcus Phillips has studied with many of the top oboist in the US and has been making hand crafted reeds for years.
Marcus specializes in making oboe reeds that will satisfy and surpass all oboist expectations.

Half of the struggle with playing the oboe, is finding an oboe reed that you don't have to struggle with just to play. I strive to make all of my reeds into that special reed that everyone dreams about.
